Between commissions Anthony takes time to travel the world with his watercolour paper and sketchbooks. Staying in new, exciting environments gives him the fresh approach to his work that he thrives on. All watercolours are done on location never repainting them back in his studio. The large egg tempera canvases are the next development from his watercolours.
SKETCHBOOK
Anthony has produced his sketchbooks since 1975 as a fascinating visual diary, filled with friends he has met, exotic locations or scenes from his day to day life. Always taking them with him on his travels they are an invaluable source of inspiration when working back at his studio. They are his most treasured possessions.
